The Edgar chair is based on the design of Danish designer Børge Mogensen’s Spanish chair — one of Edgar Weylandts’ favourite chair designs. A Scandinavian version of furniture birthed in ancient Islamic culture, Mogensen drew inspiration from a trip to Spain in 1958, modernising traditional shapes while retaining fundamental features like the broad armrests. Crafted from quality leather and oak, the Edgar features practical straps that allow the back to be tightened as the leather expands, creating the most relaxing feel.
